Enrichment and Electives
In all core academic classes, we make every effort to differentiate the curriculum and to maximize relevancy, interests, and engagement. In addition to these core liberal arts subjects and University of California A-G requirements, we create a plethora of opportunities for students to find a natural place to engage ideas and skills and to explore their world.
A) REGULAR SESSION High School: • A 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade young expert Badge Program is required. All students take part in intersessions, which are individual courses and whole division projects. Groups are created per session based on student interest.
Phoenix conducts three intersessions per year.
Grades 7-8 conduct two intersessions per year.
C) AFTER SCHOOL
Chess, Yoga, Basketball, Cross Country, Robotics, Musical Theater and related tech, Rock & Blues bands, Percussion/Drum Circle, independent guitar study
D) SUMMER SESSION
During the month of June, we offer two-, three- or four-week courses to Bridges students. The 2017 catalog can be viewed for examples of past offerings.
