Dear Bridges Parent Community,
I am thrilled to announce the return of Bridges Parent University! As noted in your admissions acceptance letter, BPU is tuition free for all Bridges Parents. You will join a community of intelligent, successful, fun, caring, and fellow quirky students and faculty. I am confident you will live up to BPU’s highest standards, use your executive functioning skills to navigate your day, and in time, matriculate as Parent Expert in the field of twice-exceptional education. Mission Statement
Bridges Parent University creates an adult learning environment to further the Bridges Parents’ commitment to learning about neurodiversity and their 2e children. Bridges parents are provided with in-depth workshops to experience how Bridges assesses for strengths and talents, educates a diverse group of students through the lens of a strength-based and student-centered model, and provides practical tools for parents as opportunity makers to cultivate their 2e children’s interests, strengths, gifts and talents. |
