WALK-A-PALOOZA

​Since 2011, on one Saturday in early spring/late winter, the Bridges campus comes alive for the annual walkathon where anyone – students, parents, siblings, friends, and faculty – is welcome to raise money online, and/or walk in the event!

Participants can win prizes by fundraising, walking, recruiting walkers, and by sharing our event website with their social networks.  The more money raised, the more opportunities to win!!!

When we're not safely walking the inner block of the school's neighborhood – the "Silver Triangle" – we'll be mingling and enjoying the energetic atmosphere, while nibbling tacos and hot dogs.

This community-building event is a crowd-pleaser, and our new online crowd-funding tool makes it easier than ever to reach out to friends and family across the country and show them what Bridges is all about.

There are also lots of opportunities for parents to volunteer, and it really is a fun way to forge new friendships, and get to know each other better.

Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(Walk time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.)​
 
*Activities include sumo-suit wrestling & a giant basketball inflatable
 
*Gift card prizes for students: $200 raised = $20 gift card, $500 raised = $50 gift card,  $1,000 raised = $100 gift card (Amazon, Game Stop, Apple Tunes & Steam).
 
Division vs. Division for The Ultimate School-Day Party

The winning division—Phoenix, middle school, or high school—will help choose the party theme/activity. Students can share ideas with class representatives. The prize will be determined by the number of students who participate,  the amount of money raised, and show of school spirit.
