YOGA II
with Nick Scheftic
DATES: WEEK 2
TIME: 9-11 a.m. PT*
RECOMMENDED GRADES: 5-12
TUITION: $300
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: None
Can you perform the crow pose, plow, bird of paradise, feathered peacock? Yoga II is for for Intermediate-plus students and recommends participants have some experience with the basics of yoga poses. The course contains a number of guided classes and will encourage participants to compose their own yoga flow sequence as they progress and become more confident. We will go over a broad range of yoga flows, stretches, and vinyasas.
In terms of equipment, students don't need anything. Some may prefer to practice using a yoga mat, but this is not essential. As yoga is normally practiced barefoot, students don't have to worry about special footwear. In fact, they can wear anything you choose. As long as students can move freely and are comfortable, then they're ready to go! Blocks and straps can be added for additional support.
