Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman spoke at UCLA on Feb. 25

​The Bridges 2e Center for Research and Professional Development was pleased to present noted psychologist, speaker, and author Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman as featured speaker at a luncheon on the UCLA campus on February 25, 2020.

Dr. Kaufman, author or editor of such influential works as Ungifted: Intelligence Redefined; Wired to Create: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Creative Mind; and Twice Exceptional: Supporting and Educating Bright and Creative Students with Learning Difficulties, discussed his upcoming book on self-actualization and his extensive work in the growing field of cognitive diversity.

Kaufman explored "Maslow 2.0: The Hierarchy of Needs, Redefined," expanding on Abraham Maslow's work and integrating new scientific findings, including Kaufman’s own research on creativity, love, personality, and well-being.
